Michael spent the last few weeks of his life being cared for by the brilliant staff at St James's Hospital in Leeds. He felt that it would be a great gesture to ask for any donations that family and friends might like to make in his memory, to be in aid of the Leeds Hospitals Charity.

This wonderful charity exists to support the staff of the Leeds Teaching Hospitals by funding the things that make a real difference to patients and their families, and to help to enhance the care the NHS already provides. This includes life-saving equipment, treatments and research into rare diseases, and helps to bring hope, happiness and home comforts to every bedside.
